The Children's Knight Tournament by Stella Polaris: The Tournament - brought to you by children of your town and actors from our company.
It’s an intensive workshop, with the children. The workshop creates a complete performance in just a few hours. The children are divided into three groups; one group of buffoons, one of knights and one of princesses.
Finally, the groups form a Tournament together, where the knights compete with swords and lances, the princess’s dance and sing, and the buffoons show their skills of juggling and acrobatics.
Stella Polaris contributes a minimum of six pedagogues plus the rest of its ensemble with musicians leading and participating in the tournament to give it an accurately lively expression as of the Middle Ages. Most suited for children aged 7-10, but some can be a bit older. Normally, it includes about 45 children, but it might for special occasions include both adults and children. The arena should be a park or a square or similar, with the option of setting up a tent.
