Idalou Larsen, 12.05.1987, Nationen [Oslo]:
"Two independent theatre companies have collaborated in making Arransikt og Stjernefolket* (Scarface and the Star People), Helge Reistad from Musidra has been a consultant and instructor, while Nina Engelund from Klomadu plays all the storytelling theatre performance’s roles: The sun, the moon, Sapana, Scarface and many more. This simple theatre expression depends on the actor’s ability to capture and to keep the attention of the young spectators. Nina Engelund opens cautiously: She stands on the naked stage making small-talk with the children, asks questions and listens to the replies. And suddenly, after a soft transformation, she is inside the story itself. When Nationen went to see the play in the church in Vålerenga in Oslo, the children paid attention. The simple story captured them, and they sat silent as mice listening, even though the play has no large dramatic effects."
Writer and date unknown, Aftenposten [Oslo]:
"First and foremost Arransikt og stjernefolket* (Scarface and the Star People) is a kind of poetic theatre. Nina Engelund creates proximity to the young audience, pulling it into a world of the fairytale and theatre."
