Fiel amigo - a friend that can be trusted is like a log of a friendship – it consists of texts, video, interviews, actions and live electronic music.

The atmosphere the production creates is reminiscent of a working studio. Texts and photos hang on the walls and the audience sits along long tables. The members of the audience can draw maps of their own friends and write down stories of friendship the company will gather and use in later performances. The performance artist and cook Roy Lervåg takes part in the production, serving a bacalao casserole to the audience. Bacalao used to be inexpensive food anyone in Portugal could afford, and it was called fiel amigo – meaning a friend that can be trusted.

Fiel amigo - a friend that can be trusted opened in the gallery Galleri 3.14 in Bergen and was later performed in Lisbon and at the Junge Hunde festival Mladi Levi at the venue Bunker in Ljubljana.

Fiel amigo - a friend that can be trusted was co-produced by BEK, Bergen Center for Electronic Arts and supported by the municipality of Bergen, the department of art and culture.
