Adventure Anatomica was inspired by the fairytale about Little Red Riding Hood. Odd Johan Fritzøe’s dance performance was about the forest and the relationship between a young girl and a wolf, between her and him, and between human and animal.
The choreographer Odd Johan Fritzøe, composer Maja S. K. Ratkje and visual artist Karl Hansen had formerly cooperated in the production The Builders, a dance performance for children, researching the interaction between dancers and sound installations. In Adventure Anatomica Odd Johan Fritzøe had invited Ratkje and Hansen anew, this time to a production directed towards an adult audience.
