Invisible Dances & Greener on the Other Side by Panta Rei Dance Theatre offers two productions presented as one.
In Invisible Dances three dancers from Norway, England and Denmark invite you into their world of fast movement, changing rhythm and short, humoristic numbers erasing the line between reality and performance. Choreographer Jamie Watton and composer Nathaniel Reed have staged a meeting between two women and a man. The expression is physical, energetic, light and playful with a humorous touch of theatrical tools.
In Greener on the Other Side three dancers are on the outlook for something or something, and during their search they meet in the dance. The choreography is high paced. The pace and fast changes underline the rush in the dancers and their compulsion to search ever onwards. Composer Nathaniel Reed underlines humorous sequences through an original score in which silence and living pauses hang expectantly in the air.
Invisible Dances & Greener on the Other Side by Panta Rei Dance Theatre has visited Norway, England and India.
Invisible Dances & Greener on the Other Side by Panta Rei Dance Theatre was supported by Kultur Akershus (within the county of Akershus), Arts Council Norway, The Fund for Performing Artists and The Audio Visual Fund.
