The Shaman and the Priest
The Shaman and the Priest (original title: Præsten og Åndemaneren; 2022) was a theatre production by Teater freezeProductions. The production was based on texts from the diaries of the Danish–Norwegian priest Hans Egede, and traditional Inuit stories. The production’s world premiere took place at the Royal Danish Theatre, Copenhagen. .
The production was directed by Hanne Trap Friis.
Svenn Syrin performed the role of Hans Egede.
Makka Kleist performed the role of the Greenlandic shaman Inuk.
