Hans comes from a big city with huge buildings, Ingrid from a farm perched on a cliff high above the fjord. She has to have a rope tied around her waist when she plays so she doesnt fall down. Hans balances at great heights.
It is a meeting across time, but most of all between two children. With play, laughter, wonderment and exploration they experience waterfalls, glaciers, dangerous and airy rescues, wild journeys and greedy tax collectors... and their first kiss.
"Dangerous play" is a highly paced performance, and K R Kompani uses acrobatic balance acts, dance, acrobatics, various storytelling techniques and rope to tell the tale. During the performance, all the actors are tied to ropes, a reality for children who grew up on these farms.
