At  the webpage of Ferske Scener the following, among other things, is written about Virkelighetskandidat 44* (Reality Candidate 44):

"On loneliness and escapism. Who can tell what is real for others?

Virkelighetskandidat 44 gives voice to Agnar, contestant in the reality show Virkelig virkelig (literally: Really real). Against all odds, he was not voted out in the first round. He now stands in front of the jury, to tell them about last week. It doesn't go well. Agnar has experienced the reality backlash of the century.

Virkelighetskandidat 44 is a short monologue, originally written for a monologue festival in Tromsø in 2004. It has later been performed several times, including during the 100 year jubilee of Tromsø and at Stamsund International Theatre Festival in 2005."
