Hør meg!

From Black Box teater’s season programme for 2022:

"How do you tell your own story? What are you interested in, what are you passionate about, and which stories or opinions do you find easy or difficult to tell people about? Hør meg! ("Listen to me!") is a project for young people by young people. developed by Christine Yangco Helland in collaboration with Black Box teater and Jordal Youth Club. Ten young people from 13 to 16 years old created and perform in the production. The narrative is about their different interests and opinions about matters such as how we live and how we best can relate to each other. They know how important it is for young people to be heard, and they wish to share their experiences. Hør meg! has been developed in a collective, creative process, and the participants’ own stories form the basis for what is shown on stage. The production has been formed by the participants and their personalities. Who are they? What do they say, and how? Do you identify with what they say? "
