In Strømmer by Tale Næss, produced by Ferske Scener, Finn Strømmer one morning wakes up to find that Thea, his six year old daughter, has disappeared. She is gone from her bed, the flat – from his life. An intense battle is started to understand the loss. All the stages from searching to sorrow via scrutiny, blaming himself and imagining things. As time goes, and the newspapers about the development of the disappearance story pile high on the book shelves, Strømmer becomes increasingly obsessed with finding answers. How and why could this happen?
The Norwegian word "Strømmer" can be translated to Streams or Currents, but in Strømmer, it refers to the family name Strømmer.
Strømmer was supported by Arts Council Norway.

Lillian Bikset (2007, 08.02). Review titled Gåtefullt og gripende (literally: Mysterious and moving). Dagbladet:
"Tale Næss' text is poetic as well as intimate, with small everyday details about biscuit crumbs and cold children's feet spread among the big questions. Strømmer poses more questions than it provides answers. Some will probably long for more and clearer conclusions. But the strength of Strømmer lays in that very longing."
Christine Kristoffersen Hansen (2006, 24.11). Review titled Strie Strømmer (literally: Rough currents), Nordlys:
"While Strømmer strives to find the answers to his questions, the members of the audience are encouraged to find their own. In the drama as well as in life. Nowhere the responses are easily accessible. A lot of heavily digested material demand chewing on long after applause has ceased in the venue of Verkstedet."
Helge Matland (2006, 29.11). Review titled Om å miste grepet (literally: About losing the grip). Bladet Tromsø:
"Strømmer is, all in all, a good production posing (life's) important questions and which has the audience think."
