The concert KTL and Our Love Will Destroy The World united the musical concepts KTL and Our Love Will Destroy The World.
KTL is a musical collaboration between Peter Rehberg and Stephen O'Malley. The duo was originally established to create music for the French director Gisèle Vienne and her production Kindertotenlieder in 2006.
KTL has developed into a band also outside of this context and per 2011 the duo has launched four albums and done a long series of concerts. In 2007 Rehberg and O'Malley were asked to make new music for the classical silent movie The Phantom Carriagefrom 1921 by Victor Sjöstrom. This led to an invitation to make and perform music for the movie Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans by F.W. Murnau as part of a thematic exhibition in the Louvre.
Campbell Kneale from New Zealand is for many known as Birchville Cat Motel, standing behind a high number of releases throughout many years. Our Love Will Destroy The World is Campbell’s newest project.
