LAG* (Layers/Team/Make)
The basis for the production LAG* (Layers/Team/Make) by Haugen Produksjoner was to examine the ambiguous Norwegian term "lag", which can mean layer (as used in many-layered), team and be the imperative form of the verb to make. At the same time it was an attempt at equalising the expressions of dance, drawing and song.

Haugen Produksjoner says the following about the production LAG* (Layers/Team/Make):
"What is it one creates and how significant is the right to stick to old illusions or let new ones take place? How can one take advantage of one’s team to get through, at least once in a while?"
The foundation for the production LAG* (Layers/Team/Make) by Haugen Produksjoner was the ambiguous Norwegian word lag, and to equalise the expressions of dance, drawing and song. The performance began with an upbeat video showing the three performing artists making a many-layered sandwich of their own possessions and their bodies. The image was replaced by live video drawing in duet with song. The dancer constantly made new characters by changing costumes onstage. She danced to the song, the drawing danced to the song, the song drew the dance. Eventually the divisions between expressions were dissolved. Form and characters were transformed to one last layer of illusion; the large white paper which had been hanging as a backdrop. When this was cut apart a singing flower-woman stepped forth, and behind her, a creature completely covered by paper…
LAG by Haugen Produksjoner was supported by Arts Council Norway, The Audio Visual Fund (project and revival), The Northern Norwegian Arts Council, the municipality of Tromsø, The Fund for Performing Artists and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
