Reisen i Engledalen* (The Journey through Engledalen/Angel Valley) by Haugen Produksjoner had one day of collective rehearsals and two days of performance with a total of four performances. All in all 10 performers took part. All the performers had made an artistic plan beforehand, which they brought. Heidi Persdatter Greiner Haaker and Anne Katrine Haugen decided where the route was to go through the forest in Skibotn. It went via the spectacular waterfalls called Henget, continued in a circle, for so to end near the starting point. Friday all the performers got to know the route and to pick their station/place.
The audience members were welcomed and cleansed with sage plus led through a breathing meditation prior to the start. They went through the route in small groups. The audience painted with water colours, watched dance, heard about the trees and the cycle of nature, listened to guitar music and was led through relaxation via a humorous text about every day angels. They also got to hear stories about the valley Skibotndalen, which according to healer Mari Solei is called Engledalen/Angel Valley in the north, and from her they also received healing. The audience members went blindfolded through parts of the route, rattled, drummed and were sung for. In addition to the stations with performers there were several interactive stations with assignments the spectators could perform themselves.
Reisen i Engledalen by Haugen Produksjoner was supported by The Fund for Performing Artists and the municipality of Tromsø.
