Ophelia's Shadow Theatre

Ophelia’s Shadow Theatre is a production for children by Teater UNO and Lighthearted Adele is a warm and humorous production about a new beginning:

"There was once a little old lady called Ophelia who lived in a little old town."

For many years Ophelia in Ophelia’s Shadow Theatre has worked as a prompter at the theatre, but when the theatre shuts down, she is alone in the world. All of a sudden a homeless shadow shows up – one that is as alone as she is. Ophelia takes the shadow home. More shadows approach her, and her whole lonely existence is changed. She teaches them all the great plays of the great writers and the shadows perform for her at her wall at night.

But Ophelia’s landlady thinks she hears strange sounds and weird voices from Ophelia’s room, and if there is anything she can’t stand, it’s strange and weird persons. She decides that Ophelia must go.
