In the spring program 2005 of Avant Garden the following was written about Håkki by Tomas Eriksson:
"Håkki wants to make a stand-up show in Fønster. It emphasises what it is like to grow up in a small village where opportunities are limited – with a tragicomic approach.
As a heart for the project of Håkki stands his place of origin, Ljungaverk, a village in Northern Sweden, with 848 inhabitants, and the cornerstone business (owned by Norsk Hydro!) has been shut down. Hence the local community is now threatened by depopulation. Håkki enters a double role in looking at the home village with the eyes of a local – and a stranger. The analytic glance of the stranger is curious and sympathising with the inhabitants, and at the same time, he puts the place in an ethnographic perspective. Such the context is local and global at the same time, that is, a "glocal" perspective."
