More
The Arctic Ocean musical Amundsen by Hornorkesteret was about Roald Amundsen.
High-paced and with an aesthetic found in the 1950es indomitable optimism and faith in science, the audience is presented for the deeds of Amundsen; from the first time he was hired on the ship Belgica to the emergency landing on ice, the airship Norge and the rivalling against Umberto Nobile.
When this is put together with the unique sounds of Hornorkesteret, made from instruments by antlers, bone, tree and stone, the aim is providing a new image of the Norwegian hero Roald Amundsen.
