Vestland, Vestland
Vestland, Vestland (2020) was a theatre production by Teater Vestland and Det Vestnorske Teateret, based on a play by Finn Tokvam. It had its world premiere at Teatersalen, Førdehuset, Teater Vestland. After this, it was performed on tour, before being transferred to Det Vestnorske Teateret in Bergen.
Arvid Ones directed it.
Vestland, Vestland was made at the occasion of the merging of the counties Sogn og Fjordane (where Teater Vestland, formerly named Sogn og Fjordane Theatre, is based) and Hordaland (where Det Vestnorske Teateret, formerly named Hordaland Theatre, is based). The new county is named Vestland.
Several of the Bergen performances of Vestland, Vestland were cancelled due to local measures against the Coronavirus in November 2020.
