Døden kommer ikke med ljå* (Death does not come with a scythe)

Døden kommer ikke med ljå* (Death does not come with a scythe) (2020) was an audio theatre production by Nina Ossavy, based on texts about and by Ted Kaczinsky. The sound version was based on a performing arts production by the same title, from 2019. The audio version was first made available during the festival Vårskjermfest, a digital version of the festival Vårscenefest, arranged during the Coronavirus crisis the spring of 2020.

Nina Ossavy directed the production.

To many, Ted Kaczinsky is better known as the Unabomber. He stood behind several bomb attacks in USA in the period from 1978 to 1995. During the same time, he wrote essays critical of society. He was sentenced to life in prison, without the possibility of parole, in 1996.

In 2020, Vårscenefest was arranged as a digital festival, using the name Vårskjermfest, due to coronavirus prevention measures.
