Prinsessa som gikk til jordas hjerte* (The Princess Who Went to the Heart of the Earth) by Skjørtejegerne is about a princess who lives happily in a castle. Her mother is dead, she has no brothers, but she has a father who loves her more than the very apple of his own eye. Unfortunately age comes and melancholy gets hold of the King. The jolly princess is chased away from the castle by the depressed king and she begins to search for a flower growing by the heart of the earth. Perhaps it can restore the health of the king. On her way to the core of the earth the princess has to face a series of challenges and choices.

Prinsessa som gikk til jordas hjerte by Skjørtejegerne has been performed at Haugesund Theatre (2006 & 2008), touring with The Cultural Rucksack in Sogn og Fjordane (2008), Verdensteatret in Sandefjord (2008), Nordland Theatre, Vinterlysfestival. 2007, the cultural centre called Aktivitetshuset in Sarpsborg, 2007, Deichman, Torshov og Bjerke, -2007, Kristindagene, Otta 2007, the theatre boat Innvik 2007, opening in Bodø College University in 2005.
