Spelet om trona - sesong 1* (The game of the throne - Season One) (2020) was an outdoors theatre production by Overspillteatret It was inspired by season one of the TV series Game of Thrones. The production was performed at SALT Art & Music in Oslo for a limited audience, due to public protection measures against the Corona virus.
Nils Petter Mørland directed it.

For you who LOVE the world-famous TV series: At SALT Art & Music this summer, you will be served a brand new interpretation of the first season, whether you want to or not.
For you who never bothered to see the longest and most complicated series in the world (it lasts for three days with 121 main characters): Do not fear, we do one season in just 60 minutes! And we guarantee that it won't be complicated, as we have only two weeks to put it together.
And for you who hate the series: Fuck you and your mother! No, you could bring your mother to the show, we like her, but you may wait outside.
This will be a madcap humour show for everyone, and the performance will be appropriate for people aged 12 years or older. We promise that profanities, serving of beer and the smell of blood will never be far away!
The whole thing culminates the summer of 2027, when we give you the end you longed for/did not think of for one second, in season 8.
