The action in Ferdydurke by Kompania Teatr - Teatr Provisorium is about a young writer’s change from adult to pubescent boy. In a surreal universe he is sent back to school by his literature professor to learn how to do things right.

Witold Gombrowicz (1904-1969) is considered among the most important Polish writers during the 1900s. He wrote Ferdydurke in 1937. The book, which has been referred to as "the hidden treasure of the 1900s" soon became a cult novel.

Ferdydurke by Kompania Teatr - Teatr Provisorium was supported by Poland 2006, Arts Council Norway and the theatre friend association Teatrets venner at Trøndelag Theatre.
