To syke søstre* (Two Ill Sisters)
To syke søstre* (Two Ill Sisters) (2000) by Theatre Spillebrikkene is based on the short story Familiemiddag* (Family Dinner) by Kjetil Indregard. The writer wrote a stage version of the short story especially for Theatre Spillebrikkene. The production is performed with stage sets and costumes – good old-fashioned theatre.

To syke søstre* (Two ill sisters) by Theatre Spillebrikkene is a horror comedy in the style of Roald Dahl. Here the audience gets to meet the sisters Berit and Bodil, who recently lost their parents in a car accident. Berit became paralysed from the accident, and now the sisters live together in the old house of their parents. Berit accuses her sister Bodil for being responsible for the accident, and Berit acts the tyrant against her in every imaginable (and unimaginable) manner. Eventually Bodil reaches a limit and plans the kind of revenge Berit will not soon forget.
The moods of To syke søstre switched between humour and macabre horror. Kjetil Indregard’s play is without pedagogic motives.
