Using the eye in the middle of the head by Efva Lilja is danced by a man and a woman, aged 66 and 69 years. It is about the development of a love affair between two elderly persons, about lust, sexuality, anxiety and joy in the most mature phase of life.
The production Using the eye in the middle of the head grew out of the research project The Memory of the Body. The project examined how experience and memory are expressed in movement and how this relates to age.
Using the eye in the middle of the head by Efva Lilja was supported by Arts Council Norway, the municipality of Trondheim and DansiT.
