Kazantsev Centre for Contemporary Drama and Directing
Kazantsev Centre for Contemporary Drama and Directing was founded by the playwrights Mikhail Rocshin and Alexey Kazantsev.
The idea behind the Russian drama centre was providing young playwrights, directors, stage designers and actors with the opportunity to realise their own projects as well as promoting new, experimental playwright talents and to represent a new theatre generation.
Young Russian playwrights from the centre include Vasiliy Sigarev and the Presnyakov Brothers.
