Gjæsp
Gjæsp was established in Bergen during the early 1990es and had the main responsibility for the AIDS rock musical Papagayaekspressen* (The Papa Gay Express, a wordplay on the word Papegøye, the Norwegian word for Parrot, and the words of Papa/Daddy and Gay) in 1991. This was a collaboration project between the municipality of Bergen, Gjæsp and the venue Verftet. It is not known whether the company performed other productions and there is no registered activity in the company as of 2010.
Gjæsp literally means Gasp and is deliberately misspelled.
