ONYX-La Carrière
ONYX-La Carrière is a cultural centre in Saint-Herblain, France. ONYX-La Carrière was established in January 2004, on the initiative of the city of Saint-Herblain, to manage the venues ONYX and La Carrière.
The intertwinement of the two structures within a new cultural institution gave an opportunity to redefine the policies and missions with the focus on initiatives for creation, dissemination and cultural activities for dance and choreographic arts.

The history of ONYX-La Carrière is twofold:
The cultural centre ONYX opened in 1988 and was managed under voluntary status until 31st of December 2003.
The flexible and versatile space La Carrière opened in 2000 and was managed under direct municipal control until 31st of December 2003.
