Katuaq
Katuaq - Cultural Centre of Greenland in Nuuk opened February 15 1997. Among the cultural offerings of Katuaq's one finds small-scale and large-scale concerts of all kinds, theatre for children and adults, art by well-known and lesser-known artists, movie screenings for children, youth and adults, lectures and much else.
Katuaq wants to expose Greenlandic culture in Greenland and internationally, through building cultural networks and partnerships, securing conservation of, development of and communication about Greenlandic culture. Katuaq aims to function as a performance and exhibition venue for theatre, concerts and arts from Greenland, the Nordic countries and the rest of the world.
