The Nordic House in the Faroe Islands
The Nordic House in the Faroe Islands (FO) is a culture centre managed by The Nordic Council of Ministers. The house was opened May 8 1983. Its purpose is to serve the culture of the Faroe Islands and to strengthen the mutual connections between the cultural activity in the islands and the rest of the Nordic countries.
The Nordic House in the Faroe Islands is a Nordic culture centre offering a diverse range of art, through concerts, exhibitions, theatre productions and much more. The house is flexibly arranged with several rooms that can be adjusted to different events.
The Nordic House in the Faroe Islands is called Norðurlandahúsið í Føroyum in the Faroese language.
