Teater Tre
Teater Tre (Teater Tr3) is a visual theatre company, with an emphasis on mime. The company mixes text, movement and music. The theatre tours nationally in Sweden and internationally. Its home venue, where Teater Tre also receives visiting performances, is called Rosenlundteatern.
Teater Tre is supported by Swedish Arts Council, the city of Stockholm and the county of Stockholm, plus Swedish Institute.

Teater Tre started in 1979 under the name of The Mime Ensemble (Swedish: Mimensemblen), at the time consisting of the graduating students from The Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts (SADA)'s class of mime acting. In 1987 the company name was changed into New Mime Ensemble (Nya Mimensemblen). In 1995 the name was changed again, now to Teater Tre, to reflect the development into a broadened theatrical expression. From a basis in pure mime the company had begun to include more text, movement, image and music in its productions.
