Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop
Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop is the oldest independent theatre/puppet company of Pakistan. It was founded in 1974 as a Not for Profit Organisation and is the only group in Pakistan which is organising major international arts festivals. The Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop is named after Rafi Peer, one of the pioneers and founders of Modern Urdu and Punjabi Drama in the Ind-Pak Subcontinent.

Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop has produced diverse body of work in drama, puppetry, dance, music, besides hosting four major art festivals.
In 1992 Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop staged its first Puppet Festival. This became the International Folk Puppet Festival. It has taken place annually since 2004 at the Museum of Puppetry in Lahore, inside Rafi Peer Cultural Centre, spread across 3 acres of land.
