Dansehallerne

Dansehallerne is the largest centre for modern dance in Northern Europe. In the closed mineral water factory of Carlsberg dancers, choreographers and dance promoters from Copenhagen and abroad gather on stages, in rehearsal rooms and offices.

Dansehallerne brings together the most important players within modern dance in the Copenhagen area: Dansescenen, which is the leading modern dance venue in Denmark. Danish Dance Theatre, which is the flag-bearer for modern dance in Denmark, with Tim Rushton as its choreographer and artistic director. Dansens Hus, which is a training, production and counselling facility.

The centre also include a library, facilities for the Danish Dance Information, a café and a shop.
