Theater Drachengasse, founded in Vienna, Austria in 1981 by Emmy Werner, has developed from being a "performance space for cultural activities for women" into a professional stage, with close ties to the independent scene - yet remaining true to the foundation of promoting female theatre makers without excluding the male ones.
