Peer Gynt, here played by Tor Stokke, stands near the front of the stage, while many performers are acting behind him. Edith Roger directed and among the performers were Svein Sturla Hungnes as the young Peer Gynt, Tor Stokke as the adult Peer Gynt, and Knut Wigert as the older Peer Gynt.
