Girls & Boys was to open at the theatre's main stage March 19 2020. However, the opening was cancelled due to the Corona pandemic. The Norwegian premiere took place at the main stage May 2020, after the Norwegian government had decided to open for events with a maximum of 50 participants. The auditorium was adjusted to a maximum of 48 spectators. This was the first event at Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre) after the closing March 12 2020.
