BIT Teatergarasjen's poster collection(0)

BIT was established by students of Theatre Studies in Bergen in 1983/84, as the theatre festival Bergen International Theatre Festival (BIT). The spring of 1990, BIT turned into a full-year venue. The autumn of 1991, the foundation Bergen International Theatre moved into Teatergarasjen in Nøstegaten in Bergen. This was BIT's main arena until 2008, thus the name BIT Teatergarasjen. In 2008, BIT Teatergarasjen moved out of the Nøstet location. Today, productions are presented in different venues in Bergen.

This collection consists of posters the theatre has delivered to The National Library of Norway, plus digitised posters from the theatre's archive. If you wish to look at a specific selection of posters, such as posters from the 2010s, you may search specifically for it.

Sceneweb wants to thank the theatre for the fruitful collaboration, and for choosing to share its archives with the public!
