"She started dancing at an early age, at four years, and it happened in Sarpsborg at the ballet school of Eldbjørg. There she attended her first classical ballet classes. There was also time for rhythmic gymnastics, for many years, but that dance was what she wanted to prioritise, was evident through her going in to Oslo to attend classes and train at the ballet school of The Norwegian National Opera and Ballet. To do that, one needs extraordinary willpower. The distance to studying at The National Academy of Ballet was not far, and there she started studying in 1987, graduating in 1990. In other words, the award winner has many years of experience from the Norwegian dance community."

Lasse Kolsrud
"As a playwright he has managed to create theatre out of Frode Grytten's eminent collective novel, theatre characterised by a rare solidarity with ordinary people, linked with the insight that among the so-called ordinary people one may find the most insane destines, characters and stories.
As a director he has managed to transfer his vision to a large ensemble, and connected the stage designer's, the musicians' and the whole theatre's many contributions with the text in an artistically coherent performance: A grand, human, warm and vulnerable success.
Such things give faith in the theatre. Such things, not least, give faith in Lasse Kolsrud."
