Baikonor Cosmodrome

Baikonor Cosmodrome is a stage text by Christopher Grøndahl developed at The Open Theatre (Det Åpne Teater). The play was written for the network Den unge scenen (DUS, literally: The Young Stage) 2004 and was performed in the regional DUS festival in Oslo in The Norwegian Theatre May 26-28 2005.

Baikonur Cosmodrome is about what happens when the humans interfere with the big secrets, but first of all it is about love. About the one we can never get – and the one we get, but don’t get right.

Baikonur Cosmodrome is the first and largest space launch facility in the world.
