Kindertotenlieder
Kindertotenlieder (2005) is a stage text by Eigil Steinsfjord developed at The Open Theatre (Det Åpne Teater).
The title Kindertotenlieder is German and was found in the song cycle by Gustav Mahler, which in turn was based on Friedrich Rückert’s poems. Directly translated it means Songs on the Death of Children.
