Henry VIII
Henry VIII is a play by William Shakespeare, probably written in collaboration with John Fletcher. In Norwegian it is known as Henrik VIII.
The play, at the time it was written known as All is True, and printed in Shakespeare's Folio edition in 1623 as The Famous History of the Life of King Henry the Eighth, was probably written in 1613. This was the play that was performed the evening The Globe Theatre burnt to the ground, June 29 1613.
Arthur O. Sandved has translated it into the Norwegian as Kong Henrik VIII (literally: King Henry VIII).
