Phaedra (after Racine)
Phaedra (2005) is a play by Jon Fosse, freely based on Jean Racine's Phaedra.
In the play Fosse has followed the plot drawn by Racine, but describing the characters through other lines in his own language. Fosse's Phaedra had its world premiere with Swedish Riksteatern in 2005.
