Trost i taklampa* (Blackbird in the Chandelier)

Trost i taklampa* (Blackbird in the Chandelier) is a Norwegian novel by Alf Prøysen, first published in 1950. It was Prøysen's only novel.

Trost i taklampa has also been adapted for the theatre, as a play and as a musical, and it has been filmed. As a play, Trost i Taklampa had its world premiere at The Norwegian Theatre in 1952. You may read more about the world premiere here.
