Via Dolorosa

Via Dolorosa is a play based on travelling in Israel-Palestine.

The monologue was written in 1997, had its world premiere in London in 1998, and was performed and filmed in New York in 1999. In both of the mentioned productions Hare performed the text himself.

Via Dolorosa means The Path of Pain. It is a road going through Jerusalem and reportedly goes the same path where Jesus walked with the cross.
