Ferdydurke
Ferdydurke is a novel by Witold Gombrowicz (1904-1969) about a young writer’s change from adult to pubescent boy. In a surreal universe he is sent back to school by his literature professor to learn how to do things right.
Witold Gombrowicz is considered among the most important Polish writers during the 1900s. He wrote Ferdydurke in 1937. The book, which has been referred to as "the hidden treasure of the 1900s" soon became a cult novel.
