Richard Suttie

Richard Suttie is a ballet dancer, born in England. He was educated at the ballet school of The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet, and at Royal Ballet School in London.

Richard Suttie has been an employee of The Norwegian National Ballet since 1990, and he was named a soloist in 1992.

Richard Suttie won the Esso award in 1991, and the sponsor award as dancer of the year in 2006. I 2000 he won The Norwegian Critics' Award (dance) 1999/2000 for his contribution to Grand-Maître's Exilium and Paul Lightfoot's Step Lightly, and in 2005 he won the honorary award of Aase Bye.
