Anders Hatlo

Anders Hatlo (born 1947) is a Norwegian actor.

Hatlo made his debut in 1971 at Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre), where his roles included Falk in Ibsen's Love's Comedy. He worked at The National Stage from 1977 to 1981, and for The National Theatre from 1981 to 1989. At the latter, the productions in which he had roles included Aristophanes' Lysistrata, Shakespeare's Hamlet, and Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller.

In 1992 he returned to Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre), where he has often collaborated with Johannes Joner, among other productions in the musical Crazy for you (1995), the farce The Mystery of Irma Vep (1996), the musical parody Sound of Musvik (2004) and the farce Arsenic and Old Lace (2007).

Anders Hatlo is also remembered for his contribution to musicals such as La Cage Aux Folles (2004) and The Producers (2011).

Anders Hatlo won The Norwegian Critics' Award (theatre) 2000/2001 for the role of the master of ceremonies in Cabaret, Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre).

Anders Hatlo also has had roles in movies and TV, including the role of inspector Sigurdson in the TV series Helmer and Sigurdson (from 1976), in the films Farewell Illusions (1985) and The Wedding Party (1989), and in the films about Olsenbanden Junior (2003, 2004). Besides he had a part in the TV series Hotel Cæsar 1998–2001.
