Christine Thomassen
Christine Thomassen is a Norwegian ballet dancer. She was educated at the ballet school of the Kristiansund opera, Elmhurst Ballet School and Royal Ballet School in London, and was hired by The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet in 1996. In 2003 she was named a soloist.

Christine Thomassen won The Norwegian Critics' Award (dance) 2001/2002 for the main part of the ballet Sleeping Beauty, with choreography by Mats Ek and music by Peter Tchaikovsky.
She was nominated anew for the same award in 2011 for the role of Juliet in Romeo and Juliet.
