Ole Giæver has worked as a movie consultant for the youth centre Tvibit and led education through The Cultural Rucksack.
Through his Tvibit work, his work with the youth film festival NUFF, the film network Paraplyen (literally: The Umbrella) and working with school revues, Ole Giæver has been central in creating different arenas for young filmmakers to learn more about film, making film and developing one’s own voice in working in film.
Ole Giæver has directed several short films, among them Sommerhuset (literally: The Summer House, 2008), Tommy (2007), The Pledge (2003). His first full-length movie, The Mountain (Norwegian: Fjellet), had its world wide premiere in 2011.
