Trine Hild Blixrud

Trine Hild Blixrud is a Norwegian actress who also produces her own productions. Blixrud has a master degree in drama/theatre from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, 2008-2010. Blixrud has studied social anthropology, history of art, drama, theatre science and handicraft.

Trine Hild Blixrud has examined how to create interactive theatre for children aged less than two years. Blixrud had responsibility for the concept and idea and she personally performed in the production Møterommet* (The Meeting Room), which was performed for children aged 0-2 years.

Trine Hild Blixrud worked as theatre consultant for the amateur theatre society Hålogaland Amatørteaterselskap (HATS) from 1998 to 2004. She has been a freelancer within the field of performing arts since 2004. She was a lecturer in drama at Tromsø College University 2004 – 2007 and since 2010 she has been a lecturer in drama at The University of Tromsø. She is in particular interested in theatre for and with children and youth.
