Kingsford Siayor

Kingsford Kweku Siayor is a Ghana-born Norwegian actor. He came to Norway with his father when he was 7 years old. 

Kingsford Kweku Siayor completed his acting education at Nord-Trøndelag University College in 2009. He was a member of the company at Trøndelag Theatre from 2009 to 2015, and at The National Theatre from 2015 to 2018.

A Tromsø boy (born in Ghana) who, after finishing his acting studies and performing the role of Charlie in Verion at Teaterhuset Avant Garden, made his debut at Trøndelag Theatre as Otto/Ulbrecht in Spring Awakening (2010). He had previously been connected with Nord-Norsk Scenekompani (The North Norwegian Stage Company) in productions of Peer Gynt and Hamlet. He appeared in Erik Smith-Meyer’s cult film Svidd neger ("The Black Lapp").

In autumn 2010, he performed the role of Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet.

Kingsford Siayor was nominated for The Hedda Award 2021/2022 in the category Best text for the stage, for his work with Superkid.
