Erik Dæhlin

Erik Dæhlin has, from NING as well as other groups and constellations, experience within most rhythmic, musical theatre and art musical contexts. As a performer he has visited most Norwegian and Nordic contemporary music festivals. Besides being a member in NING, the Puls Percussion Ensemble and half of the music performance project SPLOING, he has made several radio recordings for Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation's channel NRK P2 plus recorded and produced records of Norwegian contemporary music.
Dæhlin is educated as a percussionist from the Music Conservatory in Tromsø (graduation 1998) and has studied composition at Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo (graduation 2006).
As a composer he has been active since 1997. He has composed solo and chamber music, plus electro-acoustic music for The Norwegian Radio Orchestra/KORK, MiN Ensemblet, Liv Glaser, Håkon M. Stene, Oslo Camerata, neoN, Oslo Sinfonietta among others. His music has been performed at World Music Days in Hong Kong and at a number of European and Nordic venues and concert halls.
